What is RF Microneedling?
RF Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation procedure that helps minimize the signs of aging, improve the appearance of acne scars and rejuvenate aging skin. The Microneedling device is a motorized hand piece that uses a number of small needles to cause controlled micro-injuries to the skin that stimulate the body’s natural wound healing process. The micro-injuries trigger the release of cytokines and growth factors that lead to remodeling of collagen and elastin.
What are the benefits of RF Microneedling?
RF Microneedling helps reduce the signs of aging, improve the appearance of acne marks and other scars and rejuvenate aging skin.
Does RF Microneedling hurt?
A topical anesthetic is typically applied prior to a RF Microneedling procedure. This allows for a comfortable experience for most people. Generally, patients report feeling just the slight vibration of microneedling device during the procedure.
RF Microneedling Options
With Hyaluronic Acid Serum: Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a gel-like water-holding molecule that helps keep skin plump and hydrated. Our bodies produce it naturally in small amounts. We use only high-quality, vegan, cosmetic grade HA Serum with our RF Microneedling procedures.
With Human Growth Factors: platelet rich plasma is derived from your own blood using a centrifuge to separate the plasma from red blood cells. At baseline levels, the platelets function as a natural carrier for human growth factors. These growth factors are released from the alpha granules of activated platelets and are involved in important cellular processes that enhance the natural healing processes.
When Can I Expect to See Results?
For skin rejuvenation, many patients begin to see results within the first few days after their initial treatment. Results will continue to become visible over the next six months as your body’s natural collagen production continues. Best results are achieved after a series of treatments, generally every 5th week for 3 consecutive sessions.
Are There Any Side Effects?
After RF Microneedling, patients can expect mild to moderate skin sloughing, and some patients have reported their skin looking pink, feeling as if it were sunburned, and slightly swollen. These side effects will usually subside within the first two to three days. Other side effects you may experience include, bruising, irritation, discomfort, and tenderness on the treatment sites.
How Should I Care for My Skin After Treatment?
Following your RF Microneedling session, it is important to practice proper skincare. A regime of mild products should be used until your skin has completely healed after your treatment. It is also essential to protect your skin from the sun and wear a sunscreen of at least 30 spf daily.

Laser Genesis is a non-invasive laser treatment that restores skin tone and treats acne scars, sun spots, enlarged pores and uneven texture. This heat-based laser stimulates the body’s natural healing processes to boost collagen growth resulting in a more youthful skin tone and texture. This treatment is especially effective in treating rosacea and both acne and other scars. The treatment usually requires about 3-5 treatments, depending on the desired effects, but has zero downtime or recovery.
